On 30 April the online round table was held on the agri-food sector and on the future of Made in Italy. The Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome is active in research in the food and nutrition field and works alongside companies to train expert nutritionists, technologists and managers of the food supply chain. Eng. Giuseppe Garofano, President of the Campus Bio-Medico SpA, starting the work together with the Rector, recalled the University’s commitment to the “Sustainable technological island” project: an innovative project with a social value based on the circular economy which will foresee in its first phase the construction of laboratories and experimental infrastructures to identify new lines of applied research in the field of metabolomics and nutraceuticals.
