Closed the activity of the Campus Covid Center in the structure of 2,100 square meters and 40 beds completely dedicated to the patients of Covid-19 and isolated from the Polyclinic of Trigoria that hosted 73 patients from Rome, Lazio and other Italian regions (such as Lombardy) and that soon will be converted into the new emergency room, departing in September.

Over a period of 11 weeks, 90 doctors, nurses, medical and technical staff, together with professionals and researchers, have saved the lives of some sixty people, representing more than 80% of the patients, in desperate conditions, people with serious previous illnesses, elderly people as a 97-year-old woman discharged a few days ago and even a young woman of 29 years.

Among the many happy ending stories lived inside the Campus Covid Center, it should be mentioned that of Vincenzo, a 61-year-old patient who arrived in a deep coma from the Giovanni XXIII hospital in Bergamo and returned to his family in good health.
